ABOUT US
Kilimanjaro Live Ltd (kilimanjarolive.co.uk) is a UK event promoter. We are based in London, UK and primarily promote live music events. We also promote an alternative range of entertainment events including comedy, spoken word, theatre, extreme sports and martial arts.

FESTIVALS
Kilimanjaro Live currently operate two summer concert series in London - Live in Chelsea and Kew The Music. Kilimanjaro Live have previously operated the Sonisphere, Vans Warped Tour UK, Stone Free and Wakestock festivals. With both major concerts and reoccurring festivals we prioritise establishing effective and close relationships with the top suppliers, contractors and local authorities (such as the police) in the areas that the events take place. This has ensured that Kilimanjaro is welcomed back year on year to promote and run events in many areas – in particular London, Cardiff, Knebworth and Gwynedd where they have worked extensively.

LIVE MUSIC TOURING
The Kilimanjaro promoter team consists of Stuart Galbraith, Steve Tilley, Alan Day, Mark Walker, Jamie Anderson and Peter Thomsen. They are supported by teams taking care of ticketing, production, finance, artwork, marketing and digital, the Kilimanjaro promoters book acts as diverse as Andrea Bocelli, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Bastille, Example, Josh Groban, Metallica, Slayer, Alice In Chains, Ed Sheeran, Katy Perry, The Cranberries, Mick Hucknall, Wet Wet Wet, Nine Inch Nails, Barry Gibb, Aziz Ansari and Jerry Seinfeld in venues that range from 50 people to 21,000.

ARTIST DEVELOPMENT
Across his career Stuart Galbraith has worked with a number of major acts from the early stages of their careers, including Red Hot Chili Peppers, Stereophonics, Muse, Guns n’ Roses and Simply Red. Here at Kilimanjaro we firmly believe in supporting and developing the artists playing in pubs/clubs now – to become the festival headliners and arena/stadium artists of tomorrow.

STUART GALBRAITH BIOGRAPHY
Stuart Galbraith started in live music when he attended Leeds University from 1980-1984 where he was Social Secretary. He joined MCP Promotions in 1984.

Whilst at MCP, Galbraith promoted and worked with many artists such as Simply Red, Def Leppard, Guns ‘n’ Roses, Metallica, Simple Minds, AC/DC, etc. He also had an instrumental role in the Monsters of Rock Festival at Donington Park.

Following the sale of MCP in 1999 to SFX, Galbraith undertook the role of Managing Director, and helped grow Live Nation UK, promoting tours in arenas and stadiums with many of the world’s biggest bands. He was instrumental in the creation of the Download Festival, Wireless Festival and Hyde Park Calling Festival.

Galbraith was also one of the organisers for the Live8 Concert which played to 250,000 people in London’s Hyde Park in 2005 and the Live Earth Concert at Wembley Stadium in 2007. Galbraith also promoted most of the major concerts in Hyde Park in the period 2000-2007,including Bon Jovi, Simon Garfunkel, REM, Queen, Shania Twain and the record breaking run by Red Hot Chilli Peppers, which played to 255,000 people.
