ACTION PRESENTS

Colour of Fire first appeared on the UK rock scene in 2002, after being discovered by Mary Anne Hobbs. Success followed with BBC sessions, festivals, media appearances and they toured with bands such as Placebo, International Noise Conspiracy, Idlewid and Biffy Clyro among many others. Signed to Riverman & PIAS records in Europe and King Records in Japan. Their debut release “Pearl Necklace” was well received globally and the band toured Europe and Asia, playing most major festivals until parting company in 2005.

Since 2005, the members of the band have continued to work many other music projects such as ‘Grammatics’, ‘Department M’ and ‘Too Much Future’ (Owen); ‘House of Spiders’, ‘Die Zerstörten’ (Stuart) and Matt has been the touring drummer for Placebo since 2015. Now the original line up of Owen Brinley (vox/guitar), Stuart Jones (vox/guitar), Matt Lunn (drums) and Thom Craigen (bass) have reformed as Colour of Fire

After being asked to play for a friend’s party in 2021, Owen and Stuart realised that they had more to say as Colour of Fire and a sold out reunion show soon followed. The band are now working on developing a new album to be released in late 2024.
