Abhir is an Indo-Canarian artist who exists outside today’s stylistic conventions. His music moves between Black music, trap and alternative sounds, ranging from rage-driven energy to stripped-back guitar-and-vocal ballads. He challenges expectations with a transversal approach that brings alternative perspectives to contemporary music. Abhir’s future-facing vision is rooted in innovation: taking creative risks, exploring less-travelled territories and developing a live show capable of taking his project to another level. This mindset makes his proposal truly unique within the Spanish music landscape.
Following a journey shaped by self-discovery and honesty, Abhir consolidated his identity with BROWN BOY (2023). The project balanced his Indian cultural heritage with industrial sounds, turning critical respect into a tangible phenomenon and leading to a fully sold-out headline tour. Along the way, he collaborated with artists such as Quevedo, Cruz Cafuné and Ralphie Choo, all while maintaining a clear commitment to the avant-garde.
After a period of sonic experimentation with releases such as “nené” and “mykonos 2007”, the artist now presents his most ambitious project to date: ULTRASWAN. Set for release on May 22, the album is built around the duality between ULTRA — aggression, darkness and distortion — and SWAN — intimacy, light and love ballads — using the figure of the swan as a symbol of definitive personal and artistic transformation.
This new sonic architecture unfolds through tracks such as “Glasgow”, “Aguardiente” and the recent “Plié Relevé”, singles that introduce a universe where heavy low-end pressure coexists with refined melodic sensitivity. With ULTRASWAN, Abhir not only marks a new evolution in his own sound, but also sets a new standard within the national scene, proving that artistic vanguard and the ability to connect with a global audience can exist in perfect balance.
