Milune is a Swiss-based singer-songwriter born in New York City, where she was immersed in music and performance from an early age. Her mother, originally from Geneva, ran a vocal studio in the city and worked as a music manager, surrounding Milune with artists, rehearsals, and live performances throughout her childhood.

In 2010, her family returned to Switzerland, and Milune grew up in the canton of Aargau. Alongside a balanced and “regular” childhood, she attended dance and singing classes, gradually building a strong artistic foundation. Around the age of thirteen, she began writing her own songs, quickly realising that music was not just a passion, but a vocation.

After completing her federal maturity in March 2022, Milune pursued her artistic training intensively, dancing at the Zurich Opera House dance school while performing regularly as a singer. At the same time, she worked on her first releases, and in July 2022 she released her debut single what am i living for?, produced by Benji Alasu — who would later go on to win the Eurovision Song Contest 2024 with The Code — officially launching her professional career.
